Super Bowl: Taylor Swift Chugs Beer on Jumbotron Like a Champ

Here’s one important thing we learned during Super Bowl LVIII: Taylor Swift knows how to slam a beer like a champ.

Late in the second quarter of the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, and with her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Chiefs losing 10-0 — and the Chiefs fumbling and dropping the ball all over the place, leading to a sideline meltdown from her beau that nearly toppled over head coach Andy Reid — the jumbotron captured Swift doing what was needed at the time, which is chugging a beer out of a plastic cup in her Allegiant Stadium suite.

The Super Bowl luxury suites at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium are reportedly running around $2.5 million a pop, so who can blame Swift for wanting to make the most of the investment. And, with the first half of the game a relative bore and the Chiefs playing like hot garbage, it seemed fitting for the moment. After chugging the beer — and beating her friend Ashley Avignone in the process — Swift slammed her plastic cup on the ground. She was joined in her suite by pals Ice Spice and Blake Lively, the Kelce family, and more.
