Los Angeles lived la vida loca as L.A. Pride took over Los Angeles State Historic Park on June 8 for a queer love celebration filled with dance tunes and extravagant outfits.
Ricky Martin headlined the annual LA Pride in the Park music festival, which seemed to cater to the city’s thriving Latine LGBTQ+ population this year thanks to Martin’s hit-filled set, along with performances from Dominican perreo star Tokischa and rising Puerto Rican singer RaiNao.
“It’s a whole community from all walks of life together, joining forces, representing and letting the world know how beautiful it is to love the way we love and this is how we need to do it,” Martin said onstage, per Variety.
Jojo Siwa, the We’re Queer cast, Muna, and Isaac Dunbar also hit the stage for performances throughout the day. Plus, Swedish pop star Lykke Li joined DJ Alex Chapman onstage for a surprise performance, and LGBTQ faves Frankie Grande and Gigi Gorgeous posed for photos in the crowd.
