Between a headlining slot at Sueños Fest and a 72,000-person show at the Houston Rodeo, Ivan Cornejo has had some major moments onstage recently. Now, he’s keeping things going by announcing a massive tour. On Tuesday, the música mexicana star announced that he’ll be hitting the road this summer, stopping at arenas across the U.S.
“I can’t wait to share my new album Mirada with the world!” he tells Rolling Stone. “I’m so excited to take these songs on the road and visit so many new cities for the first time.”
The 26-show tour will see the singer stop by cities such as Nashville, Huntsville, Fairfax, Boston, San Antonio, and Anaheim. The new run follows 2023’s Terapia run.
“I can’t wait to share these fresh sounds and heartfelt performances with everyone,” Cornejo added to Variety, which broke the news of the tour. “This tour feels like a celebration of all the creativity and passion that’s been brewing over the past years.”
The singer is set to release his third LP, Mirada, in July on his 21st birthday. “My new album represents an exciting evolution and growth of my musical journey,” Cornejo told Rolling Stone last month. “Each track has a blend of my signature style but with a fresh sound that pushes the boundaries of my art.”
Cornejo teased it by dropping “Baby Please” in March. Last year, he dropped “Aquí Te Espero” and “Donde Estás,” and joined Becky G on “2ndo Chance.”
