The Colombian band Morat is known for lively, energetic shows that get fans screaming along — and their performance at Madison Square Garden Theater was no exception. The group, which formed in Bogotá, kicked off the U.S. leg of their Si Ayer Fuera Hoy tour earlier this year and made an anticipated stop in New York City. There, a massive sold-out crowd turned up and cheered excitedly as Morat went through their repertoire, adding in banjo solos, balloon blasts, and even helped with a fan’s sweet proposal. If that weren’t enough, the beloved Venezuelan singer-songwriter Joaquina started everything off as the group’s opening act.
